Stereo Clouds is a slow weather system in headphones: one soft mass of sound swelling on the far left over sixteen seconds, another on the far right over twenty, so the balance keeps tipping gently one way and then the other. A big reverb and a very slow global pan blur the edges.
Two voices are active. A pink voice panned hard left rises over 5 seconds, holds for 4 at 60 percent and releases over 6, a sixteen-second cycle. A 3.2 voice panned hard right rises over 6, holds for 5 at 50 percent and releases over 7, a cycle of about twenty seconds. A large reverb at 50 percent and a global auto-pan at 0.05 Hz with 0.3 depth tie them together.
It is designed for headphones and long sessions where a static image gets tiring. Drifting is a single voice with faster, deeper panning and no reverb, and Cathedral Air is a single grey-equalized voice in a similar large space without the motion. Because both voices are pink-range, the tone stays soft no matter where the balance sits.
