About This Sound

Think of the muffled world you hear with your head underwater in a warm bath: no detail, just a soft, enveloping pressure that rises and fades. Womb Sound is thicker and rounder than most of the other sleep presets, with a fullness in the low mids that makes small rooms feel padded.

This one uses the full brown setting of 4, then applies grey noise equalization so the low end does not overwhelm and the little remaining treble is audible. A sine pulse at 0.08 Hz produces one slow swell every twelve and a half seconds, and a 20-second fade-in eases the sound up from silence.

Parents often reach for this preset for infants and toddlers, and adults use it when they want the most cushioned sound available. It is close to Deep Sleep but heavier and slower, and next to Heavy Blanket it adds the rhythmic swell that Heavy Blanket deliberately leaves out.

Best Used For

Try this: Enable the sleep timer for 45 minutes if you only need help falling asleep rather than sound all night.
