Violet Haze is the brightest sound in the collection, like the sizzle of a hot pan or a very high, glassy hiss with nothing underneath it. It has practically no mid or low content, and most of what you hear sits in the top two octaves of your hearing.
The color is 0.2, almost pure violet, with a spectral slope close to +6 dB per octave. It is the derivative of white noise, the inverse of brown, and it is left completely unprocessed: no grey EQ, no pulse, Gaussian distribution and a two-second fade-in.
Few people use this for hours, but it is useful for masking very high-pitched tones and for exploring the extremes of the color scale. Blue Sky is a step warmer at 1, and ASMR Static in the experimental category tames a similar 0.3 with grey EQ and uniform texture.
