Flow State is just a little warmer than plain pink noise, like rain that has settled into a steady, unhurried rhythm. It is soft enough to disappear into the background but has enough upper texture that it never feels muffled or heavy over a long session.
The color is 3.2, a fifth of the way from pink toward brown. Grey EQ is off so the natural spectral slope of the noise is preserved, and there is no pulse. The five-second fade-in is on the gentler side for the focus category. The result is a very simple, honest sound with nothing layered on top.
It is a natural next step for people who like Alpha Waves but want the treble tucked in slightly. Focus Zone is warmer still and adds grey EQ, which some find flatter and some find more even; it is worth trying both back to back.
