Pink-leaning noise shaped into a ten-second wave cycle with a faster shimmer

Ocean Waves is the sound of surf on a shingle beach: a rush that builds, holds for a moment, then draws back into a long fade before the next wave arrives. A faster ripple sits on top of the main cycle, which gives the impression of smaller waves breaking within larger ones.
The color is 3.2, a little warmer than pink. An envelope loop rises over 3 seconds, drops slightly to a 70 percent sustain, holds for 3 seconds and releases over 4, so each wave lasts about ten and a half seconds. On top of that a sine pulse at 0.18 Hz adds a lighter swell every five or six seconds.
It is the most-used nature preset for both sleep and relaxation. Waves Loop in the textured category uses the same envelope at a darker 3.8 without the extra pulse, and Seaside Cave is a slower, boomier twelve-second version with grey EQ. If you fall asleep to it, the wave count is roughly six per minute.
